All of sudden my Dvd Ripp Speed become 2.4X
that is also my MAX burn speed too  
I was able to rip the DvD at 10-14 X
and Burn at 4X ....... This morning I notice
It would not pass above 2.4X speed any hint ?
DvD Reader is JLMS XJ-HD166S DS18
DvD Writer is NEC DVD_RW ND-1300A 1.08(Hack Firm Ripp speed and RPC)
Media is RITEKG04
OS is Xp Pro SP1
Chipset is Intel P875
HDD is plug into SATA port
DVD and DVDr plugged into their IDE port (Primary and Secondry)

Hi,

I presume here you are using DVD Decrypter?

Are you ripping the same DVD or a different one? If it is a different one, perhaps u can try an older DVD which you have ripped before. If the speed goes back to original values of 10 -14, then perhaps it has something to do with the DVD you have...

Maybe you can think of something that made it not work?? Like installing new drivers, programs (SP2?) or something like that.

It was HDD
My HDD was running in PIO mode  :roll:
Change the HDD to ST3200822AS
got my UDMA mode 5 Smiley

HDD usually run in PIO mode if you have not installed motherboard\'s and chipset\'s drivers! Anyway I guess it works now, well done!

I had to have Chipset Driver cause XP dont know what is
P875 Chipset is Cheesy
My HDD was always running in UDMA Mode 5
For some odd reason it using PIO mode
Now problem is FIXED Smiley
