Hi CoolSpoT
I cancelled my ripping, I\'ll do it overnight. So I had time to get you those screenshots. Here\'s what I did, trying to follow the guide as close as possible.
[Hope I\'m not overloading this page with pics]

Click Pass 1 settings

Set encoding mode, click advanced tab

Check the four settings:

Back in the main output settings, activate second pass, edit settings

I think you can leave the advanced options as they are, just make sure the encoding type and the desired size are set correctly.

I didn\'t get through with rendering this, but I guess it would come out all right. What do you think, afonic?
And why do we have this weird setting-interface anyway, CoolSpoT and I?

Nice one Roman.

I have the latest version, I think you have version 1 beta or a previous one.

CoolSpoT, you\'re welcome.

The latest binary as of today seems to be:
XviD-1.0-RC3-29022004.exe (583kb) Codename ni hao
From the filename, it looks like this release dates from yesterday!

When CoolSpoT and I read the tutorial, the \"latest\" binary on Koepi\'s homepage was:
XviD-1.0-RC2-07022004.exe (615kb) Codename Jambo

Now the question is, with which version of Koepi\'s binary was the tutorial originally written?
The little mess-up that CoolSpoT and I were in is a result of our ignorance Sad
We blindly follow the instructions by an expert, and we\'re pretty lost once his screen-shot looks a little different from our own.

Afonic: Thank you for your patience.

The guide was written using the RC2, Jambo version. The one you saw came out yesterday.
