Hi all,

Im new to the forum, hoping someone could help me out with something....

I have an .avi file which was origionally 480x360 which I converted to DVD 720x576 using TMPGEnc. I then used TMPGEnc DVD Author to make a DVD with chapters etc... All seemed to work well!

On my monitor it plays fine and the quality is spot on, however on my JVC widescreen it plays fine but leaves two black strips either side of the screen.

Thanks in advance   Wink

Hi there,

I didn\'t understand your problem. If the movie is 16:9 then there must be those black bars in order to maintain the aspect ratio and prevent the actors from look funny!  Smiley
