For me personally I look for the DTS versions. I dont hear a difference on my own home theatre because its not the best quality but I want the best myself.

So if I have a choice between the two, I pick DTS. Sometimes that means sacrificing extras, which I dont mind since iM not a fan of extras usually.

Ultimately however, as long as the movie is DD 5.1 or DTS I dont really mind as they both sound excellent.

I am so spoiled that I refuse to watch movies that ARENT DD/DTS. (Same with pan and scan for me too.)

Call me stubborn, but if the movie is designed with amazing sound, I want to hear amazing sound.

Now if only movie DTS/DD was available on TV. The premium movie channels like HBO, Showtime, Starz do it to some degree, but not all movies are featured wiht the best sound.

And local channels offer it on the new ATSC signals. SO it is at least a good start for a bright and lovely sounding future.

My Sentiments Exactly!
If Your Gonna Watch,Y`all Might As Well Watch & Listen
For the Best Picture & Sound Available.
Directv`s Newest System, The High Definition Package Does It For Me,However Your Correct In Saying That There`s Still A Lot Of Programing Out There Without The Great Sound.
If You Will Watch One Of Your Favoruite Movies In High Definition & DD 5.1 And The Same Movie Without You Will See The Difference, And Its Big!
