Hello to every one !
 Cheesy  Cool  Cheesy
I have the first elements of my new DVD  (that means that I have one .m2v and one .mpa), and I can produce without problems  (thanks to everyone that helped, and especially to dimmer) my DVD project on disc.

What I really want to do now is a finishing touch in my project, and that is a logo of my own in a upper corner of the film´s screen,  that lasts until the end of the film. The logo can be a simple name or a bitmap, or both.
Which is the easiest method to make such a thing ? :?:

Thank you all in advance..... Cheesy

Unfortunately it has nothing to do with logos.
In fact I know this because I visit them in the site that you show me because the dowloades .zip file never starts!

Thanks anyway.... Sad

oooops sorry!

I download it again and it works !

The only problem is that it works fine, but just like a player....
I have press the Imageplus button I have chosen a bitmap but it never shows up!

Anyway I haven´t  seen any \"save\" button nowhere.....
I have the impression that this program if finally works right, is ONLY for presentation, and I am looking for something permanent.

I look for sommething to add my bitmap permanent into my screen so that this bitmap/logo apears in the stand alone dvds too.....

Thank you all for your posts Cheesy

I am waiting for more. Smiley

You may want to have a look at this one editstudio 4 http://www.puremotion.com/downloads/ its not free but there is a 30 day trial.

2 ways to do what you want with it one is with chromakey http://www.puremotion.com/editstudio/tutorials/logowithchromakey/index.htm the other is transparency  http://www.puremotion.com/editstudio/tutorials/logowithtransparency/index.htm

Houston we have a problem!

PS: I forgot to tell you that in VirtualDub it was not possible because it is not accepting .m2v files.
Everything I have done untill now are under VirtualDubMod.

It works,(not with VirtualDub but with VirtualDubMod) but how can we save it ? In my first try it was produced in the first 5 minutes a huge file of 10 giga (Full processing mode--->Uncompressed RGB).Of course I terminate the program after this...

In my second try it produces a 500 Mb file (Full processing mode---->REALmagic MPEG-4 Video codec ) that it was not recognisable by other programs except VirtualDubMod.

Please help......

VirtualMod is very good as well.  I wouldn\'t use m2v I believe this is for Mac computers for use with Quicktime/I think not sure on this one, can\'t you rip the audio again and put it into a wav format and then use dub to convert it to like mp3, with the project to try and see?

Yes uncompressed will do this..  It\'s good to have the right codec\'s.

Wait, what are you trying to do?  Is this the logo you want to put into the movie?  Or is this the file it self with the project your doing?

The last 20 hours I ha ve tried a lot of things, and now I am ready to fly!!

1.  I have install the the AVIFile frameclient to my VirtualDubMod.
2.  Altough I use XP, I restart my computer
3.  I open my OLD.m2v file in theVirtualDubMod.
4.  I have my logo added.
5.  I pressed the \"Start frame Server\" button.
6.  I press the start button on the following window, and
7.  I have gave a name for the .vdr file.
8.  I pressed save(NEW.m2v), and then
9.  I opened the TmpgEnc choosing the right templates,
10.Wait for 3 hours, and end of story.......

Thank you for your help, you have gave me the best idea ever. VirtualDubMod is realy something ! Cheesy
