Hello,

I am new to the world of DVD ripping and file conversions but not new to video editing.

One of my projects is to convert one of my own DVDs to the DV-AVI format so that I can load it up in Adobe Premiere and edit from there.
I am able to rip the DVD to my HDD and now I have several VOB files.  
Is there a tool that can convert VOB files to DV-AVI file format? (elementary streams preferred)

You need not convert the dvd\'s to dv-avi.And if you do, just let Adobe Prime do the work for you. One of my bro\'s makes amv\'s and he just pop\'s dvd in his pc,and works with them right in their,with out any need to do outsite converting, other then the final outcome, whe he is done.
