hello guys.
so here goes. Ok i downloaded a divx movie and ran it through WinAvi convertor to create a DVD. The problem is that most of the time it keeps creating two disks (disk_0 and disk_1) these are to two seperate files and i want it as one so can burn straight onto a DVD-r blank. Is there something wrong with the winavi i have or am i missing a stage so enabling me to join the two folders with the vobs and bups etc. I tried to drag over the vobs from the second folder into the first but it conflicted with the title of other vobs in the first disk i.e. vob_1 and vob_1. I tried to look into the settings but there is nothin there to enable you to change anything, so i`m a bit lost as this software is great for speed and simplicity.
Any help would be appreciated

Hi willow thanks for getting back to me.
Well Disk_0 is = 0.99gig and disk_1 = 818meg. The answer to your second question is the difficult bit. I have just upgraded to winavi 5.8 and is registered therefore i have the standard edition. The winavi main interface just gives the option `menu` tab and underneath that i get :

Format convert
Burndisk
Veiw clip information
Option
Technic support
Visit the web
About
Exit

I open the option tab and get:
General

this inturn shows Fixation tab (scratch boxes for preview window and built in cd burner and shutdown when finished.
and
Skin which is set at default

And thats all it shows - no advanced settings at all which is frustrating. Even the web page shows only what i have told you also. This has been registered (albiet a download registration but still gives the standard edition to me.

so what do you think cos i do have dvdsanta to look at or dvdlab (never used them yet cos i do like the simplicity of winavi)

thats it in a nutshell really so i`ll awaut your reply and catch you later

Hi, actually, you can see the \"Advanced\" button on the \"Any to DVD/SVCD/VCD...\" interface after you select your divx movie to open. And please just click this \"Advanced\" button, and then you will step to the \"Advanced\" control panel. Please try it again!
