I was just wondering why some converted files come out so large.
I just converted a 650 meg file and the end result was 5.06 gigs!!!

I have done previous files of approximately the same size, and the converted result was anywhere from 2 to 3 gigs.

I have just upgraded WinAVI from 5.8 to 6(on the advice of \'willow\' from a previous post), and my problem was solved. Thanks \'willow\'---yer awesome, dude!!

Now another thing I\'m wondering is, there\'s so many more options on 6 than on 5.8, that I\'m wondering if I\'m missing one or two that\'ll reduce the size somewhat.

This is fustrating, cause I\'ve done files before, and everything was ok, but now it\'s not.  I mean, I can put the converted file on 2 DVD\'s, but I\'d rather use just 1, cause it becomes very expensive after awhile.

Thanks in advance for your help
