Whenever I get past the input information and say Ok, I get an error that says \"auth.dll: Can\'t authenticate drive Disk may be not locked.\"  What do I do to fix this?  :x

If the DVD you are using is not locked, you are using a ripper like AnyDVD or you have ripped the DVD in your hard disk then this message should come up and you have no problem.

If you are just trying to rip a protected DVD, try to playback the disc for 30 secs in PowerDVD or another player. If this does not work, check out the ASPI drivers as TankKiller said. If this is not the problem then use DVD Decrypter and rip the DVD in you hard disk, and encode for there.

Yeah, I went to adaptec.com and downloaded the drivers and installed them.  Now I don\'t get the message telling me to update them, just the first one.  I\'ll try playing in PowerDVD and look at that other post.  Thanks!
