Because you need to break it up and do it for every paragraph your reply/quoting about.  Not the top to bottom..  Go back and click edit and and do this before the time runs out for you.. you got a hour before your not allowed to edit your post, it might be even sooner.

break it up with the vcode quote  /quote with [ ] on each of the quote beginning and then at the end of each paragraph or sentence.

Try it.

I\'m thinking about installing home. I have some questions for u about it even though it came with my computer and i used it a few times. How can i install it without having it take all 40 gigs or a little less for my C: drive?? Maybe 20 gigs for my C: drive and 20 for D: drive. I have a 40 gig hard drive.

You just make a back up disk and use it to partition the drive when you format the drive. Like Fdisk.
