When i shrinked the DVD to the hard drive, the file have the same Video/Audi_ST folders(same name/files) for each DVD. I I used Nero/selected DVD video and... i'm stuck here! because all the files i shrinked have the same name (can i change the video file when i shrink the DVD? couldn't seem to find the option).

I guess this will work putting both sides of a flipper on to one DVD disc. Seems like one of the better guides for doing this. DVD-Guides is a great site for learning. Thanks!

Menu and AVI
written by Clownie61, July 15, 2006
As with comments from previous members I would like to know how to add 2 or 3 movies in avi format on to a dvd and create a menu to seclect the one I wish to view. I would take I need to convert the avi to vob files, re-author with DVD Shrink, then build a menu. I get this far and then I am stumped on how to create a menu. Any help would be appreciated?

Where to find the movie title?
written by TopX, February 13, 2007
This is really a good guide! Very useful. However I have some problems here. When I use the DVD Shrink, some movie title can be seen, but some cannot be seen. Have tried to search these missing title inside their Video_TS and Audio_TS, but found nothing. Any one can help? Thanks.

Question about DVD menus...
written by Robert M, March 30, 2007
I am hoping someone can help me on this one: I want to be able to put two movies on one disk, with a main menu, of course, and once you click on one of the movies, it goes to the main menu of the original DVD-9 disk, as if you just placed two movies on a disk, straight out of a store. Is this possible? If it is, which program allos me to do this?
If you know, please email me at -removed- Thanks, Robert.

i use ripitforme which opens dvd decrypter automatically and encodes the movie into a file form, i use dvd decrypter to burn the movie on one disk thanks to dvd shrink , dvd shrink also transforms the file form into and iso image, dvd decrypter can only burn iso image files. these programs are all free could be tough to find on the internet though. the best ripit4me vrs. is 1.7.1.0(the last version since it got shut down but you prob can still find on the net) the previous versions werent as good as 1.7.1.0..i just burned transformers and evan almighty. using these 3 programs you can burn any dvd garanteed.

How to add 2 avi's to 1 dvd
written by Sir_Frag, November 15, 2007
This is what I do and has always worked out quite well for me. open Convertxtodvd. Place blank dvd-R into your drive. Now drag and drop 2 700 mg xvid/avi files into Convertxtodvd window and click Convert. This will take an hour or so deppending on your system. I always leave it be and watch a movie on my other system. when the convert/burn is done you have 2 movies on 1 dvd that you can select from the menu and play on any dvd player. There will be no sub menu for each movie however but at least you have 2 selectable movies on 1 dvd. Great for movies that have part 1 and part 2. Now there on one dvd. Hope this helps you out.
sometimes the title doesn't show in DVD Shrink
written by The_G, November 27, 2007
Just adding a note about a comment someone made earlier regarding some VOB's not showing the DVD title in the DVD Shrink program. I've also experienced this, and have found that VOB files over 2GB (which were created from .avi/.mpg/.wmv/etc conversion) do not show up on DVD Shrink. When I create the VOB files using WinAVI and change the setting from Quality "Highest" to "Medium", this creates a smaller VOB file and then DOES show up on DVD shrink. This may be related to that problem with Nero where files over 2GB are not allowed to be burnt to DVD. So, if you encounter this problem, try using a lower quality setting when converting the movie to DVD format, to get it under 2GB.

I use WinAVI v8 to put 2 movies (avi etc) on one dvd and it gives beautiful menus. Select the option 'One DVD - Several Titles'. I mostly use it for tv series or mixed documentaries etc but it is good for full length movies as well.
multiple movies on one dvd with WinAVI
written by rich1842, November 28, 2007
I should have said above that the menus do not contain writing - if there are say 3 movies you see 3 moving frames of the first images of the movies. It is usually easy to pick the one you want, they appear in the same order in which you selected them for inclusion.

ConvertXtoDVD
written by waineck, March 06, 2008
ConvertXtoDVD (http://www.vso-software.fr/products/convert_x_to_dvd/)
can make from multiple videos one DVD disk with subtiles. Supports-(avi, mpg, mov, wmv, mkv, ogm and more conversion to a DVD). Just simply drag and drop or add from menu your files(video & subs) on disk and that's it. I was looking very long time for program like this because I often download DVDrips that are from 2 parts. Once I had a little problem with previous version of ConvertXtoDVD because in my VIDEO_TS folder he didn't create "VTS_01_0.VOB" file and than when I try to burn dvd with nero he complain about this error that maybe DVD won't be playable on DVD players. Maybe was a problem in a version of ConvertX or he just forget it to create. Now I'm using version 3.0.0.1 and all works fine with more videos and included subtitles.

The title 1 movie was the only one being read, it has 3 movies on it and it all played the title 1 movie. When i played it on the computer it plays the 3 different movies. Can you guys help me how to edit the made title 1 movie to make it into title 2 and title 3. Is there a software to do it? I changed the file name in the dvd files and when i played it in pc, still it reads title 1.
Master of Burning Movies Simple
written by Giggalo, July 10, 2009
You want more than 1 movie on a dvd?
Have your movies in XVID - DIVX – MPEG 1 – MPEG 2 format If you have 4 movies 1 gig you can put 4 movies on 1 dvd. Start Nero burning rom Select DVD Scroll to the bottom and select DVD-ROM (UDF) Click New You will see 4 panes, in the 3rd pane browse to the folder where you have your movies. Click on the folder and the movie will show up in the 4th Click and hold the mouse down and drag the movie to the first pane and let go of the mouse Keep dragging movies to the first pane until you reach the 4.6 gigs, you will see this at the bottom of the screen. Now just click burn. For dvd-r and + r tell it not to do a Multisession if asked. When completed pop the dvd into your dvd player and you will see a menu of the movies you burned, select a movie and enjoy. I use this method for all my tv shows, most of the time I can put 18 to 24 episodes on 1 dvd as long as it does not go over the 4.6 gig

Get a video card for your computer that has video out, go buy you a panasonic vhs/dvd-r recorder(record in f record mode, my player can put up to 8 hours on one single dvd-r, and it will play on all dvd players). Hook your video and audio outs up to the dvd-r recorder. Play your avi (video file,etc..) full screen in your media player(turn audio all the way up in media player). Set your screen to play out to your video out plug. start your video playing then pause(using keyboard) set dvd-r recorder on f record, start recording and un-pause your media player program.
While Your watching it on your tv you will be recording it to dvd-r. in some cases files with external subs(.ssa,srt,etc..) you can change the subs to a bigger font and also ajust the color, so they will be seen better on your tv. Write comment
