| How to convert VCD/SVCD To DVD keeping original MPEG1 video |

This guide show you how to convert a VCD to a DVD. Actually all you are converting is the sample rate of the audio to 48Khz and then you author the DVD. The tools we are going to use are TMPGEnc, BeSweet and BeSweetGUI, and maybe VCDGear. Let's start now!
All that's left is author the DVD. We have two authoring guides that you can follow below. Make sure you select the right video file (the one we create in Step 4) and the right audio file (the one we just created with BeSweet). Have a look: > Using DVD

Overlaps? written by Navmanite, July 04, 2007
Hi, nice approach. But I did all of my SVCDs with an overlap of a few seconds, any suggestion how to get rid of them in the final movie.
Furthermore I would like to know if any (switchable) subtitles will be transfered to the DVD movie version. Thx. report abuse

If you're into video technology, you owe it to yourself to look into getting a
video security camera. Not only can
you hook a
surveillance system up to your PC and use it as a
digital video recorder, but a
wireless security camera will also help keep you and your family safe.
